I was trying to practice painting today. I came up with this. It wasn't supposed to be icy in the beginning but it ended up that way. Since I decided to do a monochromatic painting.

Flute Dragon (as curnette calls it)

I drew this dragon last year without the intention to paint it. I finally decided to start it in hopes of practicing digital painting. In the new one I decided to add in the wings and have the claws closer to the muzzle so that it looks a bit more threatening.

I`m trying to get a couple portfolio pieces together during the summer for co-op. I`ll probably end up adding other stuff during the school year, but I want to have a completed portfolio now, so that I don`t panic later.
I`m focusing more on layout and animation, I`ll post my animation that I did later, Right now I`m going to focus on layout because I want to paint it so that it looks more complete. I`ll post my paintings later on during the summer so that you can see the comparison.

I did this drawing on two pieces of sketchbook paper taped together. I ended up deciding it later and that`s why it looks like this. I just wanted it to feel more complete.

sci fi environment

I want to get a portfolio ready for next year. So far I did this and I'm also working on an animation right now that I want to add in my demo reel.
I wanted to make this semi futuristic with a sci fi aspect to it. The round structures I used in this were inspired my the architecture of mosques.
